LIVING UP TO ITS NAME: Local News Reports Spain’s Costa del Sol records driest winter EVER since records began!
SPAIN’S Costa del Sol has recorded the driest winter on record ever according to the national state weather agency AEMET.
A measly total of 11-litres per square meter fell during the months of December, January and February – which are traditionally the wettest months.
The measurement was made at the Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport and is the lowest on record since records began in 1942.
