XXII International Peoples Fair 2016

Travel the World in 5 Days

Andalucia is brimming with festivals (Ferias), many of which celebrate a village’s patron saint, with plenty of dancing and parades. Not to mention wine, food fairs, bullfights and even circuses! Celebrations continue well into the early hours, often rounding off with fireworks. As they take place almost all year round in different places, you may be able to catch one during your stay.

The International People’s Fair comes to Fuengirola April 2016,  one of the liveliest cities on the Costa del Sol, Over 1 million people traditionally come through the gates to the experience.

In the city’s showground you will find stalls representing all countries and regions, there you can sample food and beverages. There will be many attractions including live performances, and entertainment for all ages.

International People’s Fair begin 28 April

12:00 Fairgrounds will be open at this time; it is the place where the Trade Fair takes place.

13:00 Opening of the Trade fair stands

20:30 Official opening of the People’s Fair 2016

4:00 Closing of the Trade Fair stands.

Friday, April 29

Opening of the stands for the Trade Fair from 1pm to 4am.

SATURDAY 30 APRIL – INTERNATIONAL PEOPLE’S FAIR PARADE

9,30am Since the morning participant groups will meet at Plaza de España (Spain Square)

11am Fair Parade with the following circuit:

  • Plaza de España
  • Avenida Condes de San Isidro
  • Avenida Matías Sáenz de Tejada
  • C/ Alfonso XVIII
  • Pso. Jesus Santos Rein
  • Palacio de la Paz at 1pm
  • 1pm Opening of the stands for the Trade Fair until 4am.

Sunday, May 1 & Monday, May 2

Trade Fair will be available as every day from 1pm to 4am.

There will be representations of more than 30 different countries, among those countries you will be able to find stands from Italy, Senegal, United States and some Spanish regions like Navarra or Canary Islands among many others.
